Final Finale – PNG Cooking Camp

An all-day cooking camp was held recently for ages 10-15. Under the direction of cooking instructor, Mrs Lynette Jalivay, the students created a 3 course meal consisting of an appetizer, entree and dessert. All in attendance agreed this was a “tasty” affair. We have several fun classes that are held at the library for all ages. Be sure to check out our activities!

Kids Club Zone – Do you love Dinosaurs?

Ages 5-9 had a great time this week learning some interesting facts about dinosaurs. We read the book “Fossil by Fossil” written by Sara Levine which compares dinosaur bones. The students then designed their own dinosaur fossils using 5 different types of pasta. A fun time was also had by using blocks and popsicle sticks to balance dinosaurs as a team. It’s safe to say that the 17 attendees do indeed love dinosaurs!
